Overlay Zone
Additional layer of controls on top of the underlying zoning.
An overlay zone adds extra controls on top of the underlying zoning - heritage overlays, environmental overlays, urban edge, scenic drive overlays. Overlays are visible on municipal GIS viewers and recorded on the zoning certificate.
