Coverage
Footprint of buildings as a percentage of erf area.
Coverage is the total ground-floor footprint of buildings on an erf, expressed as a percentage of the erf's area. Single Residential 1 typically permits 50% coverage. Departures can apply if coverage exceeds the maximum.
