FAR (Floor Area Ratio)
Total floor area as a multiple of erf area.
FAR (Floor Area Ratio), also called Floor Factor, is the total floor area of all buildings on an erf divided by the erf's area. Single Residential 1 typically permits FAR 0.6-0.8. Higher FARs apply to General Residential and Business zonings.
