Erf
Unique number identifying an urban registered property in South Africa.
An erf is a registered urban property in a proclaimed township. Every erf has a unique number that, together with the township name, uniquely identifies the property nationwide. Erven (plural) are administered by the Surveyor General and recorded at the Deeds Office.
