Application integrity
Every application is reviewed by a SACPLAN-registered town planner before it is lodged with the municipality. We verify:
Property ownership
Erf number, title deed reference and owner consent are checked against the documents you upload.
Zoning and use rights
Current zoning is confirmed from the municipal scheme before drafting the motivation.
Document completeness
A 12-item SPLUMA checklist must pass before the planner can lodge with the municipality.
Immutable audit log
Every edit, upload, planner action and status change is timestamped and retained.
Payment security
Landlodz invoices you directly and is paid by EFT into the Landlodz company bank account. We do not run an online card checkout, and we never ask for card numbers, CVVs, online banking passwords or one-time PINs.
One invoicing party
Only Landlodz (Pty) Ltd invoices you. Town planners are contracted by Landlodz and never invoice or take payment in their own name.
Fixed banking details
Landlodz banking details never change mid-matter. Verify them against our Payment Terms page before paying.
Transparent pricing
The Landlodz service fee on your invoice is the fee you pay. Landlodz is not VAT-registered, and statutory municipal fees are charged separately at cost.
Proof of payment
Proof of payment is emailed to consult@landlodz.com and verified internally before work starts.
Account security
Hashed credentials
Staff authentication is handled by our backend with hashed credentials and email-based account recovery.
Row-level security
Planners can only see the matters assigned to them; applicant records are restricted by policy.
Role separation
Admin and town-planner roles are stored separately from user profiles and granted manually - they cannot be self-assigned.
Report a concern
If you suspect fraudulent activity on an application, a suspicious payment request, or someone impersonating a Landlodz planner, please contact us immediately.
Landlodz will never ask you to pay into a personal bank account, and a town planner will never invoice you directly. Every legitimate payment is made by EFT to Landlodz (Pty) Ltd using the banking details published on our Payment Terms page.
